Podiatrist

Lisa has over 25 years of clinical experience, working in both the NHS and the private sector.

After graduating in Podiatric medicine from the University College Salford in 1993 she worked for Leeds NHS Trust for 5 years.

Here she gained experience in working with the elderly and children, developing a passion for managing people with foot problems and diabetes and other complex medical problems. After she married, she moved to the North West and secured a position working for Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust.

Lisa became a specialist podiatrist for people living with diabetes and other medical conditions that place the foot at risk of complications. In 2001, Lisa initiated and set up a successful multidisciplinary foot clinic within the hospital and held the post of Specialist Podiatrist for 17 years before deciding to embark on a new career in the private sector, where she spent 8 years at the Brookdale Clinic in Knutsford.

Lisa joined the team here at Cheshire Foot Clinic in February 2021.

She remains hugely passionate about the treatment, management and prevention strategies of foot conditions for all her clients. With Lisa’s clinical experience she can offer assessment, treatment, advise and a management plan specific to her clients’ needs. Where appropriate Lisa will also carry out an annual foot assessment for clients living with diabetes where she ensures her standards of care are compliant with the NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) diabetes guidelines.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys keeping fit, walking her miniature dachshunds she is also the safeguarding officer for her daughters’ local gymnastics club.
